NO. Washington state legally states that no persons under the age of 18 (even with written parental/guardian consent) have any form of tattooing/cosmetic tattooing procedure.
Following permanent makeup aftercare instructions is very important to give your brows a chance to fully heal, for a naturally beautiful look. Failure to follow these aftercare instructions may result in infections, pigment loss or discoloration.
Helpful Tips! Avoid swimming, hot tubs, saunas, excess water in your brows, sunburns, scratching and picking during healing. Keep the area as clean as possible! Wash your hands before doing your aftercare routine! It is essential that you follow these instructions after your cosmetic tattoo session:
Day of: When the procedure has been completed, leave the aftercare ointment on your brows for a minimum of 4 -6 hours. Then gently clean the area with a very small amount of distilled water on a cotton pad, just barely damp. Using a Q-tip, apply a very small amount of the aftercare ointment to brows. Just enough to moisturize the brows. Be very gentle! If you notice your brows looking "sweaty", don't worry - that's just lymph fluid! Wash your hands and pat away the fluid with a clean tissue/cotton round.
Duration of Healing Time: Repeat the steps above. Be extra careful not to rub the brows hard, exfoliate, tug or scrub the brows. Do this 3x a day (morning/afternoon/night) On day 4-7, if your brow area itches, please DO NOT scratch.
Continue with the aftercare routine. If your brows feel tight or dry, apply a very thin layer of the aftercare ointment with a cotton swab after cleansing the brow area with a small amount of distilled water on a cotton pad.
2 Weeks: Brows usually are initially healed at this point. When all scabs/flakes have naturally fallen off you may resume any normal skin care and makeup routines.
While your brows are initially healed at this point, keep in mind the true color may not be seen until around weeks 3-5.
After Healing: Congratulations! To help keep your brows from fading faster, use a SPF facial moisturizer to help protect your skin and brows. Sunglasses and hats are a bonus during the summer months!
If you have any unexpected problems with the healing, please contact your artist at: browsbybrenda25@gmail.com immediately, to discuss further instructions. Contact a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following: fever, redness at the site, swelling, tenderness of the procedure site, elevated body temperature, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, and/or any green/yellow discharge that is foul in odor.

Some light scabbing may be present for the next few days, continue to moisturize 2-3x daily and please DO NOT pick, scratch or exfoliate. Continue to use ointment to help with itchiness.

Cosmetic Tattoos:
Cosmetic tattoos are a 2 session procedure. The first procedure is for your artist to build the custom brows that you want. At about 6-8 weeks when the brows are healed, we have the second “perfecting session”. When it is time for your second procedure, your artist will assess how well your skin takes the pigment and how your brows have healed. Then proceed with a “perfecting” session to fill in any gaps, patchy areas or any concerns you or your artist may have after healing. In some cases a third touch up may be needed.
Yearly/bi-yearly touch-ups are expected (longevity of brows can depend on pre/aftercare, skin type and lifestyle).
Tattoos:
While not required, tattoo clients are offered a touch up session. If you are not sure your tattoo needs a touch up, contact your artist.
Gift certificates are now available! Please send a message to BrowsByBrenda25@gmail.com for any purchases
Cosmetic Tattoos:
There are many factors that I take into consideration before taking on a potential client with previous work. Consultations (as with any potential client) are required before booking an appointment so we can better gauge what the best course of action should be taken.
Your artist will evaluate the current state of your brows and be able to give you a recommendation. Whether the previous work is light enough to work over, if the previous work needs reshaping, color correction or even removal.
Usually, I am able to accept these clients when the previous work has faded from its original state 80% or more. The reason for this is that if the previous work is too saturated and has no form of removal, any new works going on top of an old tattoo will not be effective in covering or camouflaging.
We want you to have the brows that you'll love!
Tattoos:
We will not be accepting any cover-up pieces at this time.
Cosmetic Tattoos:
Consultations are required for ALL new clients. This is to make sure a potentially client is a good candidate for this procedure. It is also a great way for clients to get more information, answer their questions and know what to expect during their sessions.
As your artist, I will take note of your current brow situation, your goals, go over pre/post care and what to expect before/during/after your sessions. As well as booking out your future in person appointment.
Tattoos:
Consultations are recommended for all tattoo designs. We will go over size, placement, style and design details at time of your consult. As well as booking out your future in person appointment.
You may also send your tattoo inquiries to BrowsByBrenda25@gmail.com
Please include the size, placement, style and design ideas in your e-mail.
All consultations are virtual to keep traffic down in the shop (and hey, you don't have to leave the comfort of your home!).
Your design will be reviewed with you in person at the time of your appointment.
While you can wear makeup to your cosmetic tattoo session, your artist will be cleansing the area free of all makeup, oils, dirt, etc. If you have a preference on how you like your eyebrows done you can always show your artist a reference picture.
